Played at championship level up until very recently, before heading to Australia. He's back now and been training with Doncaster for fitness.

He seems the best of the options which are available to us tbh.

Agreed, Doncaster are not looking to sign him.

Emyr Huws also played Championship football in 2021 and must be better than the current options available (Redmond etc).

Would be interesting to see if either of those fit Les Reed's criteria for signing. I think PP would have to be pretty forceful to get it done. I think both would be good if fit and wanting to perform. I can see Butterfield being decent but one of those players who may be past it with only glimpses showing.

Is this hit and hope tactic an upgrade from last season?
I think PP has seriously underestimated this league and thought Mullin would fire us to the title whilst neglecting midfield.
Also, don't understand the love in with Brad Walker; we should be aiming hire in January

Doesn't have to be Walker but someone of that calibre. Don't forget we were on a hell of a run while he was here and he helped us to top the table, but was no fluke. He got injured, we fell apart and finished 5th

i think its more a case of would he want to play for us rather than if he could cope

i would also add that i still see DJ in that role, i know he lost his head a bit against Woking but with it being his first game in front of the home crowd etc it probably got to him a bit

Bearing in mind that criteria saw Redmond get a deal I am not sure we should follow it.

I don't know why posters are surprised that we are playing long balls out of defence; Parkinson's style is of direct football with a high press. All his previous teams played that way, not because they had to but because that was how he wanted them to play. The defence, and Young, are playing to the tactics of the manager. They are pretty much the tactics of the last manager, just with better players.

TBH, I don't think any Wrexham fan would question tactics if we're top of the league.

When we've taken 9 points from a possible 18 questions will be asked about everything and rightly so
