Re: Grimsby (A) Ratings
Played at championship level up until very recently, before heading to Australia. He's back now and been training with Doncaster for fitness.
He seems the best of the options which are available to us tbh.

Re: Grimsby (A) Ratings
Is this hit and hope tactic an upgrade from last season?
I think PP has seriously underestimated this league and thought Mullin would fire us to the title whilst neglecting midfield. Also, don't understand the love in with Brad Walker; we should be aiming hire in January |

Re: Grimsby (A) Ratings
i think its more a case of would he want to play for us rather than if he could cope

Re: Grimsby (A) Ratings
i would also add that i still see DJ in that role, i know he lost his head a bit against Woking but with it being his first game in front of the home crowd etc it probably got to him a bit

Bearing in mind that criteria saw Redmond get a deal I am not sure we should follow it. I don't know why posters are surprised that we are playing long balls out of defence; Parkinson's style is of direct football with a high press. All his previous teams played that way, not because they had to but because that was how he wanted them to play. The defence, and Young, are playing to the tactics of the manager. They are pretty much the tactics of the last manager, just with better players.
