I would of started off todays ratings if RP didn’t decide to log me out.

All those players would be one mark higher after 45 minutes, but we have to honest and say that the second half was an absolute abomination.

Lainton 7

Reckord 6 struggled to get forward and defensively
French 6 sane as above

Tozer 8 composed and loves a drive through the middle
Lennon 8 comfortable on the ball very impressive
Hayden 7 shows moment of brilliance and moments of calamity

Young 7 his best game this season and helped dropping Jones deeper
Jones 8 quality in the first half and played some lovely balls, clever player
McAlinden 8 carries the ball well, loves a tackle and as above played some lovely balls

Mullin 9 constantly looked dangerous and a constant nuisance fantastic player
Ponticelli 5 worked hard but no quality

Subs

Jones 4 sluggish
Angus 3 didn’t look interested and weak as piss
Cleworth 6 for the fantastic block.

I am sure some would still rather Rutherford bombing around instead of watching quality footballers on the ball.

James Jones was outstanding first half.

Really good across the board. We sat back a bit too much as the second half wore on but I can't fault any individual.

Both French and Reckord had to put a real defensivr shift in during the second half against some very good wide players.

6 for Mcalinden!! Thought he was outstanding today.

Lainton - [9- Solely for the last 10/15 mins. Nothing to do before that.

French - 6 - Good first half link up with Mullin/Ponticelli. Their winger had him on toast second half.
Tozer - 8 - Ice cool and reads the game brilliantly. Top sh1thousery too in the final stages.
Lennon - 8 - Some great cross field pings and won all of his battles. If we can fix him he'll be quality.
Hayden - 7 - Can't tell if he's either too good for this level and taking the p1ss a bit will crazy flicks/skill in his own box or he's just a mistake waiting to happen. Some quality defending with some heart in mouth moments.
Reckord - 6 - Some vital challenges and won a lot of 50/50s. Really impressed me compared to last season.

Young - 7 - Much better from Youngy today. I feel like he needs to be taken off in the final 10 mins of games as he can be a bit erratic.
Jones - 8 - Similar to Young, really intelligent and technical player who works his socks off.
McAlinden - 9 - Great strength and link up play. He needs to have some more confidence/awareness on the turn as he rushes passes sometimes. Great display and everything went through him.

Mullin - 9 - Tired in last last 15 (understandably) but he is a joke at this level. To score that on your weaker foot. Phwoar.
Ponticelli - 6 - Put himself about but he's not good enough for where we want to be.

Subs
Jones - 5 - Not sure what he offers us. I thought he'd come on and settle things down. Didn't really do much.
Angus - 5 - Bizarre that he wasn't left on the halfway line to hit them on the counter with his pace. Seemed to drop into the LCM/LM spot. Strange.
Cleworth 6 - Shaky. Last kick of the game was a mix up between him and Tozer (?). Amazing clearance/block at the end. Hope we don't see him in games against the top half teams.
