Joking aside Barnet and Aldershot could do worse than him

His brand of football was just awful to watch. One of the least enjoyable periods that I’ve been watching Wrexham.

Any news on Andy Davies? Does he still live locally?

Bit fliping snidey to stick the boot in on someone who put in years of service for the club, really shows a lack of class.

There were some aspects of his tenure as a manager which were not perfect for sure, particularly the end of his first spell here as boss but he is one of the best players we've had in the last 15 years or more. For a club that runs on the sentiment towards its former greats I don't think it's fair how we've talked about both Hughes and keates following their time as manager.

You may not be able to remember them as great managers but at least don't forget their efforts as players.

Keates was fine, he deserves to find a decent club.

Not to say we shouldn't have got rid, he didn't match what we wanted and where we want to be, but I'd like to see him succeed elsewhere. So long as it isn't against us or down the road, as previously mentioned here.

Could easily do a job for a bottom half side in this league & I hope he does. Should also get a huge applause if he was ever to return to the race course. If not only for him being the best midfielder since we’ve been in this league.

That performance against Newport will live long in the memory

I think in time we will find out what a lot he said about the budget being poor will be true. Ill be honest i was a big critic of him and his style of play but as we've seen this season even with the big bucks behind us getting decent players in isn't as easy as it looks. Now i have a certain level of sympathy for some ex managers given how shodily the club was run.
