What's always intrigued me is, where do these chants originate? For example, the Super Paul Mullin song..is it an individual that came up with the lyrics and tune, and started singing it by himself and others catch on, or is it a group of lads that practice it in the pub, garage or wherever and then fetch it to the ground?

Not sure if they were the first but Spurs have been singing a Dele Ali version of that song for years. We've just changed a few words.

Talking of Spurs, That version of " When the Spurs going marching in" is terrible, its slow and very uninspiring.

An individual came up with the Allez Allez Allez lyrics (he was singing it to me and my mate in the turf) Me and my mate looked at each other and thought he’s had too much devil dandruff. He sang it and everyone joined in inside the ground

Always loved the "Marriott, rolls the ball to Hardy...." chant - haven't heard anything similar elsewhere.

Would re-working that be an option?

Yes, I am too old for this now, but I agree. On the Kop at Liverpool, the chants are generally topical and funny. We can even pick some of them out on the telly. The Wrexham chants are cringe worthy and re cycled. A personal dislike of mine is “stand up if you love Wrexham”. Just an excuse for some oik to block our view, again!

And if they stand up you stand up the person behind you then stands up . I personally find it a pain in the arse ..

maybe change it to ben Tozer and throws it down the left and throws it from the right. we have a song for mullin
