Wrexham FC Fans : Pub Stockport

My mate has a pub on the A6 just across the road from the railway station and he has already been visited by the police and been told they are expecting around 2,000 Wrexham fans on Saturday. He has been told to have security on and only have one entrance to the pub open.
Drink in manchester and get the train down. Piccadilly to Stockport is a 10 minute Train journey and a 5 minute walk to the ground. Every train going south stops at Stockport and they leave every 10 minutes or so

Nice one.Appreciate that. As for being told to go to The Armoury ss it's an away pub by WAFC1926,if that was a wind up,what a total plank you are.If it was an innocent mistake then it may be an idea to check facts before offering advice. Could of ended pretty bad!!

I’m fairness, away fans probably drink their usually due to so many low supported teams in the league so will be able to mix fine?

I've drank in there on an away day with no trouble in the past. I doubt it's doable now however.

Given how much choice you have in Manchester, I don't know why anyone would settle for drinking in Stockport.

Sounds like I'd have recieved more than a little abuse if I'd have ventured in there. Like I've often said, 'a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing'.
