With coaches leaving at 12.30 (and arriving around 13.30) is it likely fans will be taken to an away pub? Or just dropped outside the ground with nowhere to go?

More likely the coaches will stop right outside the away turnstiles and there will be police in two rows forcing everybody straight into the ground. Happened last time.

Yes the plan is to get Wrexham fans in the ground as early as possible and make you drink pissy canned beer from their tea huts.
The Town Hall Tavern (on the A6 opposite side of the railway station) welcomes away fans provided you are well behaved and not pissed - he’ll have security on and it’s the local bikers pub so they generally weigh in too if there’s any trouble

Probably a bit late in the day, but as others have said, Petersgate tap offers the best cask beer in town. Also 4 or 5 keg lines, and usually a number of unusual ciders. Turn right out of there and you'll come to the market, which offers 3 or 4 decent pubs in the square. The Angel is very good. As a Stopfordian, you really don't need to go to Manchester for decent pubs these days. For food (with a pint of Jaipur) try Ate Days A Week.
