A friend of a friend felt the same. Due to him having asthma his missus begged him to get jabbed. He knew best though, refused, and is currently in a coma. That's choice for you.

The players would still have caught it and have to isolate for 10 days meaning the games would have been cancelled?

I know we can't force anyone to be vaccinated but there is a sense of professionalism and personal responsibility in my book

And a responsibility to society on the whole. It's pure selfishness to refuse the vaccine if you're eligible.

I hope clubs start asking for proof of vaccination before signing players. They'd be a liability without it.

What would be peoples attitude be like if our players hadn't been vaccinated as its almost 100% guaranteed that they all haven't been. Say mullin and Hyde have not been jabbed should we not play them???

Everyone should have the jabs - I really haven’t heard a sensible reason why not. All UK surgeons have to have a Hepatitis B jab as a condition of their job as a surgeon. It’s what you do. No one objects, they just get on with it.
Professional footballer should accept their responsibilities and get on with it. Alternatively, don’t have jabs and go and live on an island with like minded anti Vaxxers. Only saying .
