Does anyone have any idea what is happening with the WST?

The last AGM was 8th August 2020 meaning we are overdue but there is no word whatsoever on when this years is.
I presume a whole raft of members who pay subs annually ( myself included) are now out of their 12 month period meaning they are unable to take part in the AGM?
Months ago the board fell out of a quorate position meaning the only actions they can legally take are to get back to quorum but they took no action to do that and have not done so at the 12 month AGM date.

What the hell is going on? The Racecourse lease sits with this Organisation. If the WST is dead then the lease needs to be passed over to the club or to another supporters group that is fully functioning

Agree.

In all honesty I don't expect an agm until the board has had a 'meet and greet' photo opportunity with the new owners.

They can't do anything major until a vote.

Last I heard was this email 2 months ago:

Full details will be provided at the forthcoming AGM. This has been delayed because, disappointingly, no member replied to the position of vacant secretary. This has now been resolved but it has meant that everything has been put back.

We are waiting on the FSA to respond to some outstanding queries and once these are sorted out, the AGM, along with all the usual paperwork will be distributed to all paid-up members.

Brian Phillips is Chair, vice chair Bryan Still resigned fairly recently.

I'm guessing Phil Salmon, Paul Smith, Gavin Jones and Mark Williams are still on the board?

I spoke to Brian phillips last week on the phone and the wst are still waiting for the fsa to provide more details for the agm.

They don't have the quorum to make a decision to ask FSA for details nor have the expertise to do a zoom agm.

Much better if they hired out a pub garden or similar to do an AGM before it gets cold..
