Couldn't see this anywhere so I'll sfart with a 3-1 win for the reds.

Just had a look in my old scrap book from1968 and found my coach ticket for my first visit to Aldershot on August 10th 1968. We left the Racecourse at 6.a.m. which would have meant leaving Ruthin at 5.15. Fare was30/- (£1.50 for you youngsters).
I've also got the complimentary ticket which the manager Alvan Williams got for everyone on the coach when he saw us outside. Admitted us to the South Stand but we moved to be able to stand up.
Lost 2-1 unfortunately , no idea when we got home , not many motorways in those days.

It’s a must win game if we have aspirations of getting promoted. Aldershot have lost every home game this season.

We always seem to lose at Aldershot but think we'll have too much quality.

Definitely need to get that monkey off our back. Seems a good time to play them, but then again I thought that about Stockport!

I think we will have too much for them. 2 nil win.
