Shame about some of the team. Where did that performance come from- or did we just come up against a better and well drilled team , both I suspect, having watched that.

We had 9000 for Luton that year in the play off but may have just been less than tonight. Luton filled both tiers of that corner mind you.

Over 12,000 v Boston but that was on a Saturday, the Kop was open and it was pay on the day + a must win match to stay in the league. Absolute amazing turnout tonight including the Chesterfield fans, long midweek trip for them.

Over 9,000 on a Tuesday night to watch non-league football is truly amazing.
