Not very professional really for a manager to publicly suggest a player has put another player deliberately in danger.
The evidence needs to be pretty damning to come out with such stuff..And from what people who've seen replays, and we're close to the incident, it doesn't seem to be the case..

have seen a few of incidents in the past week with time wasting with throw in's. Players actually getting booked one was sent off against chester second yellow.

It happens at the highest level, as well. A Northern Ireland player was also sent off, at the weekend, for supposedly time-wasting with a throw in, in the 36th minute!!

I agree and possibly even libellous.

Has he said anything else that wasn't in that newspaper story in the original post? Saying a challenge was horrendous and Reckord should have been sent off isn't libellous. Half the managers on MOTD would be sued every week if it was.

Ok maybe not libellous I grant you but if I was our manager I would have come out and said that my player is not that kind of player and we at WFC resent the implication.

I’m sure Parkinson will be saying something similar about an opposition player in the coming weeks for a questionable challenge on one of his players. That’s the management game. No need to get knickers in twists.
