Default Parking at Nantwich

Whilst there is a car park at the Nantwich ground it is likely to fill up pretty quick. The club itself run junior sessions on the adjacent all weather pitch so the club car park is well used.

As an alternative
Just a few hundred yards on the left hand side -towards the town - there is a well lit, fairly large, council car park which is really convenient and I believe free of change in the evening. (Its located by the leisure centre).

I wouldn't advise anyone to park on the roads of the new housing estate which is being the ground.

Nope - “ There is no car parking available at the Optimum Pay Stadium”

No idea why club has opted to close that off?!

The whole thing will be chaos !

Lack of turnstiles at Nantwich plus the afore mentioned parking issue.

Club obviously hoped there would be no need for a replay.

Edit. Just seen perhaps limited to 1200 so most should get in by half time.

There are 4 others in town, all within 10 minutes of the ground, The Civic Hall, The Studio Nightclub, Love Lane & Morrisons. For a quick get away Nantwich Marina has small car park on Chester Rd.

There is sufficient parking but people who do not know the area will struggle to find it and with a walk to the ground there will be a big problem about 7.30 so predict the match might not kick off till 8.15.

Went to Nantwich last week and even with a crowd of 300 there was a significant que.

For that match v Warrington there was only one turnstile open. In all they have 4 available but i guess it would be wise to get to the ground early.

Perhaps like me - you found it to be a friendly club to visit. Lets hope all fans respect that fact.

It is indeed and enjoy my annual visit there. I think your tip is wise but suspect it will not be heeded. The club does not have the infrastructure for large crowds so your second point is an important one as they will do their best in what will be difficult circumstances. Any issues are the responsibility of those that chose to play the match there !
