- dominated the first 15 mins

no we didnt.

- 2nd maidenhead goal clearly individual defensive mistakes - not the managers fault

Our full backs are exposed in this system. That is the managers fault.

- second half dominant for the first 30 mins - got back into the game

Not true. we had a spell of 15 mins and after we scored our 2nd we went back to being rubbish.

- their 3rd goal - against the run of play when we were pushing for ( and nearly getting ) a winner and we only had 10 men .

2 defenders vs 1 attacker and he rolls them both. nothing to do with 10 men as it was from a set piece.

It's absolutely been a rocky start- but anyone who expected anything other than a work in progress for the first few months was being totally unrealistic

Moving Tozer to mid field has made a significant difference performances have been a lot better the last 3 games including last night

WE absolutely should be expecting to win every game - but we should also be realistic in understanding that won't happen ...

.. how long did it take after Man City came into money before they dominated teams week in week out ? --- it was far from instant .

I fully expect us to be less than 10 points off the top by Christmas and if we do that ,we'll certainly make the playoffs , if not automatic promotion .

WE have spent a lot of money , but we also have a good few teams in the division that had MUCH better quads than us before we started spending in the summer .

I'm not happy with the results, but I can see the progress and I still firmly believe we're going to have a successful season ..... just wish people were a bit more realistic and there was a bit less moaning - but then I should know better than to expect that by now .
Nail on head.

Some of the posts on here are ridiculous. We were starting from a very low point in terms of squad ability and infrastructure as a professional team. It’s going to take more than a few months to turn the club around.

12 months ago we were a club surviving on raffles ans bucket collections… let’s not forget where we were a very short time ago.

We've won 4 games and 2 of them were scraped wins over Dagenham and then Woking, we should have lost both matches and were beyond lucky.

Oh, we've spent more money than every team in the division.
Two seasons ago after 11 games Barrow had only won 3 games and lost 6. They were 14 points off the top with no games in hand. Remind me where they finished at the end of that season?

I'm not saying that we will win the league, but to say that the title is out of our reach is ridiculous.

I’d argue that both full backs aren’t good enough to carry out their duties. They were the same last season.

It could be argued that Keates produced better value for money than we have now.

I agree. Some of his players were on buttons.

I have been to perhaps, 60% of our games this season. Of the games that we have won, we never really wupped our opponents. Of the games that we lost, we either came out with negative tactics or at worst, didn’t put enough effort in.
With the exception of Mullin (who is clearly special), the others assembled here, don’t look exceptional. Is this down to poor tactics, poor team selection or just that the players are not up to the job. Just because a player costs big money, doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t sweat blood for our cause.
I am disappointed to be honest. Sacking PP at this stage looks premature.
