It's caws. Cheese in English. Rhymes with Mouse, if that helps.

The website is simply horrendous. Crashes the computer of anyone who ever clicks on it.

Probably why they come out with more extreme and ridiculous stories to keep the clicks going. Shame as it used to be a good regional paper.

I mentioned this last week. Every website owned by that newspaper group crashes within seconds of you clicking on the link. The user experience is truly awful. You never get a chance to read the story because it crashes immediately. I’ve given up on the Daily Post and their other websites for this very reason.

It seems to be the "in thing" with smaller newspaper websites.... load them chock full of ads, pop-ups, videos in the bottom right, and so many tracking codes, that reading anything of substance is largely impossible.

Add to that, the chronic decline in journalistic integrity and more click-baiting than news.

No money in news, so they have to grab every penny going.

It is a volume game for those who do that, and how do you get volume? That is the answer to why there is a decline.

Why spend hours / money on something important but that will be hardly read compared to Carol Vordaman did X on Insta content?

I’m told the report is in today’s Post. I can’t control when the report or coverage appears in print but a large part of my job is improving coverage of this club and I’m doing all I can to make that happen.

Coverage of the club will increase over time but it’s still very much a work in progress.
