The other thread is more about parking so, after Saturday’s lacklustre failure, can anyone see us improving at a much improved Halifax?

Last season was a ‘walk in the park’ but tonight should be our hardest challenge since we lost at Stockport. Hyde will probably start alongside Mullin, but will they be supplied any decent ball? The midfield were piss poor against Wealdstone and do not fill me with hope. Will PP tweak it — we have very few options — or will he stick with his favoured trio?

We must get the two WBs involved more, whilst hoping the 3 CBS are as good against a much better team.

Going for a draw is never a sound strategy, but I would take a scrappy draw. Most importantly, we must not lose.

If we won two draw one every three games as just happened Where do you think we would finish in the league ?

I dont think we can play Aldershot and KL every week unfortunately.

Unless you think we look capable of back to back wins against the better teams??

Probably top.

However, we unfortunately have to play every team and we are not averaging the 2 points per game whilst not losing to the top teams.

As things stand, we won’t win the league and we will struggle to consolidate a position in the POs.

We are reliant on keeping in touch until the cavalry arrives in January. Saturday’s performance suggests we have ‘three wheels on our wagon’ and those Cherokees are closing for the kill!
