The lad in question was with me. I took my son and 3 of his class mates and it was his first away game. We were parked on Clare Road, just round the corner of the away end and heading back to the car when a few blokes in their mid 20s/early 30s attacked them. My son was punched in the side of the head but suffered no injuries while his friend had his jaw broken, nose cut and needed to spend the night in a+e. Shortly after a fellow wrexham fan had his mirror kicked off his car and a bottle was thrown landing just in front of me.

If anyone has any information to share, other than blaming innocent kids, then please dm me.

Bloody hell. Very disturbing news. Not the first report of trouble this season either.

Glad your son did not suffer any injuries. So sorry to hear that his friend suffered a broken jaw after attending his first away game. What is the matter with some people?

FOG should apologise for his bang out of order comments.

I honestly think some of Halifax's 'lads' should be offered the opportunity to have a scrap with men who are up for it.

Thanks for your support. The police are currently looking into it and have asked us to see if anyone has any footage of the incident as cctv coverage was non existent on the street.

To be honest, I wouldn't really expect anything less from FOG. Its this type of ill informed reactionary bullshit that has led to this forum being shunned by so many. The vast majority on here are good people and if there's anyone FOG should be apologising too, it's the family of the child concerned. They're in absolute pieces which is hardly surprising as he has to go to the maxillofacial unit tomorrow as its the upper jaw(skull side) which has been fractured and he also may lose several teeth.

Bastards.

I hope the culprit is caught. Being charged for assault on a minor will really feck up their pathetic little lives.
