Horrible to hear and hope the lad makes a full recovery. Sadly the mental scars will be much more difficult to heal. We were parked just down the hill from the away end on the corner and certainly heard some lads coming down the street towards the ground but I am afraid saw nothing. Some of the Neanderthal responses on here indicate that we still have problems in football.

Sorry to hear about this it's absolutely disgusting from Halifax. Hopefully the know heads get caught and Halifax get fined for the incident. Bans should be issued.

Very sad news. Nobody deserves to be treated like this especially young kids. I hope the lads are not put off by their experience, and wish them a speedy recovery.

I'd like to echo my thoughts to the poor lad involved in this.

Absolute disgrace that not even children are safe going to football matches. With all the furore over what happened at the Racecourse, I hope that Halifax make a strong statement condemning this.

Hope all the young lads are all ok, it must be horrible you you as well. There was always a unwritten rule where things like this shouldn’t happen if you’re looking for trouble, hopefully there is footage of the attack and the Halifax lads will face charges as this is enough to put your lad and his mates off for life.

That is shocking to read Omni sorry to hear this.

Maybe the club can officially complain to the club/league much like the Torquay incidents or are they different because they happened inside the stadium?

Either way complete unacceptable hope the oxygen stealers get caught and banged up

That's shocking. Hope he makes a speedy recovery both mentally and physically.

Terrible to hear, Omni - hope he makes a full recovery, and that the scumbags who did this are caught quickly.
