Wales National teams.

Just watched Wales women beating Greece 5-0 in their World Cup qualifiers.
I have to ask the question though…why was this game of football played in Llanelli, a stronghold of rugby?.
Have Wrexham been abandoned by the Welsh FA to such an extent that any National game will not be played at the Racecourse?.
I think some games have been played at Colwyn Bay…but surely Wrexham should be the National teams home in the North as it always used to be, and games played here and not in rugby areas of South Wales.

Cringed at the clamour to get a big game here when the women needed to win to qualify a few years ago. Zero clamour before that at all. The women have built up a loyal fan base in south Wales and like to play their games there as it gives them the best chance of qualifying.

Welsh National teams include the under 21s ,the mens team as well as the womens…all have been conspicuous by their absence over the years at Wrexham and the North in general.

Personally don't watch womens football but whatever gives the team the best chance surely is priority. Great result by the way.

Great draw for the men's national team. 2 home games, can't have asked for more and a chance to settle a couple of old scores with Scotland (Joe Jordon handball at Anfield 77 and the disputed penalty in 85).
