Default Porto memories

Asked to share this on here.

Think it is something to do with his uni work:

PORTO MEMORIES WANTED

Were you or someone you know at either/both of the ECWC games vs Porto in 84/85? Did you listen on the radio? Did you miss it for some reason? Any great stories you have about them @MaxParry4 wants for his podcast project all about it. Tweet him!

(Taken from FID).

I believe he is hoping to interview someone about it.

Help much appreciated.

A school friend and I sold programmes in a tiny little hut under the Yale Stand. We had no idea what crowd to expect, but we heard the roar. To get to our spot in the kop we had to walk around the pitch. We always took the longer route, mainly to wind up away fans. On this particular night though - and I can still picture it - was the crowd in the kop. It was heaving, and such a refreshing change from the norm. A special crowd, a special night under floodlights.

I think that you have got that the wrong way around. The Roma game was staged in the afternoon due the the electricity cuts as far as I can remember with a small crowd in attendance.

Maybe I’m getting it confused with among others, the Wales/Spain game. Long time ago, and the memories fade.

The Roma home leg was in the evening, I remember bringing a couple Crewe fans who wanted to see the Roma's stars, especially Brazillian Falcao.
