Default Weymouth (A) - T’s & P’s

Saturday’s pathetic effort and awful result was not the tonic I wanted, especially after County’s jitters intensified. Doesn’t matter how we spin it, we wasted a great opportunity to close the gap and eventually win it.

It’s still possible but my fear is we are now ‘running on empty’, and those little, red jelly-babies aren’t producing the necessary sugar-rush amongst some very tired legs.

Will PP finally rotate his squad? Or will he keep flogging the proverbial dead-horse? It’s a difficult balancing act. He clearly has little faith in most of the regular benchers, and O’Connor and Hosannah are taking longer to regain their fitness than hoped.

I expect another hard tussle against a team trying to play catch-up with Aldershot and hoping for a miracle against us. But I expect them to be relegated at the final whistle.

Regardless who starts, keep the ball on the ground whenever possible!

Weymouth 0 WXM 3

They don't score many (33 all season) and concede almost two per game (74 so far in 39 games). Even on an off-day we should have enough firepower to beat them.

Going for a scrappy 1-0 win to get us back on track.

I don't think it's matter of a lack of faith from PP with his bench, and he has shown he isn't scared to throw players in i e. Cleworth and Dibble in when it was required, but he seems reticent to change Mullin, Palmer and Davies due to their goal ratio unless the game is put to bed. Young and Tozer are also main stays but he has changed the others at times.

It’s a big game and it’s a vital that we win to cement our place in the top 3. Solihull and Halifax still have a live chance to finish above us and we need 3 wins from final 5 games to secure that all important top 3 spot.

They could be relegated with a defeat I believe. We need to win and I believe we will

We were simply flat on Saturday and not too intelligent either - pumping high balls up to their massive centrebacks...

Should bounce back though 2-0

Should be a comfortable win - they offer sod all going forward and are crap at the back.....we said the same about Dover though!

0-2 win to get us back on track.
