Very surprised, though given there recent transfer history not too shocked he has gone. Made some strange signings under Nuno, Conte eluded to it a while back

Given that choice agreed, Darren F has had a good managerial career, but whoever fired Denis Smith to leave us with that choice needs to question their judgement and the repurcussions of that with league status much more.

All down to finances...Whoever ithat was (Think we all know) ,was going for the cheap option..

I think the bigger lack of judgement was sacking Denis Smith. Grass is always greener, results were poor and the club was on a decline, but Smith had a great track record of being able to work with no money. Carey & Fergie were well experienced pro's, but a rookie manager wasn't what, we needed at that time.

The others were probably tactical and managerial ineptitude. Great player though.

Wrexham should be known as the No Brian's club (like the no homer club) because we've had a lot of Brian's/Bryan's in charge and I can only remember one good one...
