Default BOREHAM WOOD (A) - T's & P's

The transference of positive energy and vibes from RP and its posters is having a tremendous affect on our oppo's up the road, but will the Wrexham group-think render BW catatonic tomorrow?

I suspect there will be more Wrexham fans circling north London than aircraft holding for Heathrow, with the possibility of our R&R heroes jetting in to see the boys in action. I suspect PP and the team are already heading down the M6/M1 to their destiny with fate. Just hope we have lots of ice on board to ease those tired legs and keep the champers cool for the journey home.

Have BW rebound after losing their mojo at the Racecourse and Goodison? Or were they lucky to be playing a floundering County team that can't buy a win at the moment? Does it really matter? Yes, tomorrow will be a whole new challenge for the Dragons and County. We need to show some grit and determination -- an early goal would help unlock the BW defence -- and County must hope that the Spirites are as wonky as their church's steeple.

Surely the silk-like TO'C will start tomorrow. Or is PP confident enough to just give him another 30 minutes ahead of next weekend's battle-royal? RH-J to start, with Hosannah coming on late to run 'em ragged! Otherwise, we really are down to playing the usual suspects unless McFadzean passes his late fitness-test.

Tomorrow's result depends on how tight we stay, and how quickly we score that first goal. BW are tighter than a mizer's pocket, so we'll have to be patient. Tomorrow will not be for the feint-hearted; with one eye on our game and the other on Chesterfield, we are sure to have a few tears one way or another!

BW 0 WXM 2

Spirites 0 County 0 after 89 minutes.

Then the blind NL ref awards a penalty for a furloughed dive in the box to seal it! Ain't football great; if you are winning!

Can see this being extremely tight game. It’s either 1-0 to us or 1-1. Not many goals at all.

As we saw against Woking and Stockport yesterday, these teams with nothing to play for are bloody dangerous. The gloves are off somewhat.

Maybe this is the game to make a couple of changes to get more energy into the team. I’m reluctant to suggest Davies sits out given his goals but I think O’Connor should play. I’d also look to play Hossanah down the left if McFadzean is still injured. Having Davies and McAlinden available from the bench will help us a lot in the last half hour if we’re chasing or seeing the game out.

I agree Alan, I think O Connor gives us that control and composure that the others don't have. While the others have raised their game, O Connor wasn't brought in to be a backup option.

3-0 Wrexham. Mullin and Palmer will run this lot into the ground.

Chesterfield 0 Stockport 0

I'm sure PP will be hammering the game plan into them. They decided not to follow the plan against Woking and 1st half v Weymouth.

We have a very defined way of playing which few teams can cope with when we do it effectively which in fairness we've done very well since February.

It's great to have TOC available, he's basically a new signing and a quality one at that. So comfortable on the ball. Unless Jordan wants a rest I'd stick with the same midfield to start and bring TOC on later. What a luxury we've got that quality off the bench

McFadzean starts if he's fit, releasing McAlinden to do what he does best off the bench. RHJ starts with Bryce on to rip them apart for the last 15.

All of a sudden the squad looks strong

Anyone else concerned that SPM was limping before he came off yesterday? Would Ponti and Palmer work if we had to go without SPM?? Not scaremongering as know nothing other than BBC Radio Wales reported the limping prior to Mullin’s substitution.

Anyway with SPM tomorrow I think we’ll win 3-2 but it’ll be edgy. Come on Wrexham, let’s get out of this godforsaken league!!
