Re: Richard Brisley
Where has this thing come that the centre backs can only play in one position. When we last got promoted we didn't say Carey, Roberts and Lawrence were the designated centre backs abs assign one to Pejic, Morgan and Dan Bennett. The players showed adaptability and covered for whoever when needed. Has Parkinson ever confirmed this rigid setup?

I think the 1 in 1 out is Parky's style - no more/less: the ball player at the centre of the three, supported by two fast/athletic centre backs who preferably are on their strong side. Not sure if that has been confirmed directly but it's been confirmed de facto hasn't it. |

Granted I've only seem him play once or twice but Brisley doesn't strike me as the player who can get forward and is comfortable overlapping the wingback. |
