Default Win on Sunday and it still goes to the wire

I’ve had a couple of days sulking about the late equaliser on Monday, but we have every chance of taking things to the last game of the season.

A convincing win for us and Stockport still need 4 points to be sure of the title. It looks unlikely and maybe I’m clutching at straws, but it’s not impossible.

Really looking forward to the game on Sunday. The team is a million miles away from where it was last season.

We've been playing on football predictor in work. And yep a win first and foremost takes it to the following week. A 2-0 upwards makes the scenarios scary. Looking forward to Sunday. Stockport have been fairly solid. Just don't want them to win the league at Cae Ras. COYR

Thought Stockport were very good in the trophy game against us, especially first half. Quality wise, it was one the best matches I’ve seen in a long time at the racecourse. Hopefully we edge it again on Sunday.

I am still sulking about that ridiculous challenge Percival, I am just praying we don’t have to watch them helmets celebrate winning the league at our place.

Huge incentive for us Sunday.

Win 2-0 and we go top, we guarantee a home PO semi final AND we take the title to the last day where Halifax will likely need to win at Stockport to possibly win it themselves which could open the door for us if we win at D&R

We should be all over this on Sunday.

If you think about it, even if we hadn't conceded late on Saturday, it still wouldn't have been in our hands

Losing on Sunday won’t do much for either Mrs Bishops, or my own mood. We can look at the challenge as a pivotal point, but realistically there have been too many of those littered all over the season.

I blame Jamie Reckord. His attempts to stop the cross for Torquays equaliser were embarrassing.

We would have to win 3-0 on Sunday to go above Stockport, on goal difference. We would both be on 88 points. Stockport play Torquay mid week and then it’s the final day, the next weekend.

Realistically we can’t win the league unless we beat Stockport, they lose to Torquay and then lose or draw with Halifax and we win or draw away at Dagenham, depending on if Stockport lose/draw. So basically it’s out of our hands!
