Default Phil Parkinson

I think he deserves a big well done from all off us,despite the early doubters

Agreed.

Doesn't get the praise he deserves, he has really built a good team here.I am looking forward to seeing how he progresses with the squad over the next couple of transfer windows.

Him and his team are building a great squad and producing some good football to watch at the racecourse.
A few more quality additions in the summer it will be even better, just hope the likes of Davies , Cleworth and Hosannah stay with us to see the story out.

Points against top 7:
Wrexham 19pts (we played 5 of them in the first 9 games)
Stockport 14pts (could get 17 if they beat Halifax)
Solihull 16pts
Halifax 16pts
Notts Cty 16pts
Grimsby 14pts
Chesterfield 13pts

Interestingly...
Torquay - 15pts

for the big matches, we have delivered, Halifax have too. If they don't beat Halifax, Stockport's results not great against the better teams even under DC.

It's been said time and again that the second half to the season has been a lot better, this must be down to Parky and he must be up for manager of the season.

It’s a shame he doesn’t get many chants or warmer praise as he’s done a fantastic job. I think the slow start and his detached demeanour may have switched some fans off and there is more of a connection with the players but I think he’s done great

Going forward whatever happens he should have a new contract. Imagine our team with quality additions of his choice in the summer we will take some stopping

He's on a rolling contract. He doesn't need a new one. He effectively started a new year long deal this morning.

I was deffo in the " we have not got a chance with Parky in charge" camp. Can honestly say the only time I've ever bood at a match, ever, was at Marine. I just could not see how a team who produced such dross could make up to the quality required to challenge for promotion.
How wrong I was. Phil, keep this up pal and you'll attain legendary status.

Hes done great for a 1st season - not all been glorious - He got lucky with Cleworth after singing injury prone players like Lennon. Hyde being another massively cost us in the 1st part of the season. Other singings like Hoshanna and Brisley have hardly played.

But to identify Palmer, Tozer, Hayden, Mcfadzean has been fantastic business.
