Not much we can do about County now. We did the physical, mathematical and psychological damage yesterday. Can they bounce back or are they a busted flush? The last time I saw strikers like them was at Rossington pit in 1984: big buggers let down by poor management!

Assuming we beat D&R on Sunday — which is no foregone conclusion — how do you think it will pan out?

We just have to do to D&R what SCFC do to Torquay on Wednesday (or better it).
Whilst keeping everything crossed that Halifax do the business on our behalf on Sunday.

I've convinced myself that this is going to happen but if not, c'est la vie.

As Torquay proved when they gate-crashed the R&R party in late October they have the ability to be party-poopers. I have a feeling that they will piss on Stockport's chips on Wednesday and smash & grab a 0-0 draw.

That will leave a few sleepless nights before Sunday. I think Stockport will struggle to break down Halifax in a 0-0 draw. After slating his front men I can see them drawing a blank in the last two games.

That leaves us v Dagenham. A really tough game but if we play at our best we win. We go one down after a brain fart at the back, then Mullin grabs an equalizer with a worldie. After the season he's had off the pitch the Hollywood ending would be for Local Hero Jordan Davies to smash in a 30 yard free kick winner in the 90th minute to secure automatic promotion. If that happens there won't be a dry eye in the house me included.

Technically you're correct of course

I did originally put 0-1 but then changed it to 0-0. Torquay couldn't go to EP and win could they?

Wonder what the odds are on that. Think I'd enjoy seeing that almost as much as Wrexham winning promotion at D&R

The amount of money Stockport have spent over the last few years if they don't get 4 points out of 2 home matches they will be the biggest bottlers I can remember for many a year
