Yea I was trying to explain it to my kids (8 and 10) and they just couldn't get it, a picture is worth a thousand words

Yes. They’re all single leg games.

Home advantage to those who finished higher in the league.

I.e. 4th home to 7th, 5th v 6th, 3rd home (only) to winners of 4&7, 2nd home (only) [Us] v winner of 5th/6th.

All one-leg ties.
