If he’s heading back to this area I’d expect us to offer a better wage and a 3yr deal which would probably seal it. I’m sure Palmer would sell the club to him.

Wages shouldn't be a stumbling block for us but would he want to drop from League One ?

Not sure but some clearly do. I'd suggest we focus on them. All the better if he is one.

Was he actually playing for Crewe recently? Always a bit naturally cynical about players from teams who have been relegated in such style....
