I don’t think that it inspires confidence in the players before the biggest 3 games of the season for us to be openly discussing our retained list.

I think Lowery would be a perfect fit in midfield. A left sided central defender also . It’s an absolute shame than Lennon is injury prone as l think he is league one level at least . Back up striker as Hyde is another who will miss games .

If our players are sat reading a messageboard before the biggest 3 games of the season, I would argue their mentality isnt where it needs to be anyway.

This isnt twitter. They would have to go completely out of their way to find these comments.

ST - Freddie Ladapo or Conor Washington

EDIT - just seen comments on another forum regarding Ladapo, could be a bad egg
I believe Connor Lemonheigh-Evans has already been snapped up. A deal for him was already agreed at the time we played Torquay.

To the person who mentioned Liam Hogan, I don't think he's the level of player you're looking for. If we've released him then you're surely going to be looking for better. At 33 I think he'd do well at somewhere like Altrincham.

Rumoured to of wanted Mark Beevers in Jan. he’s now been released. Pretty sure he’s Left footed centre half

from our 3 encounters it was Palmer who looked the weaker of the two so im surprised you have offered an extension.. Hogan is getting on now as you say, best we go for another centre back of Hayden's age and ability.

Definitely prefer Palmer over Hogan. He does have the odd mistake in him but he is the better defender of the two and a decent goal scorer from set pieces too.

I imagine both teams will have another busy transfer window.

He's getting on, but I can't deny his career has been great and it would be his first club below league 1. My worry is having too many players around who are 30+ on 2/3 year deals.

While Tozer (ok defender but instrumental long throw) and Palmer have been a great success so far, if we become reliant on older pro's injuries and 'losing a yard of pace' could hold us back.
