I think we are going up this season, but am much less sure whether that will be under Parky or someone else. With this squad and spending we need to hit the ground running and start well; Parkinson has been in the game long enough he knows that. Top 3 after 10-12 league games would be minimum acceptable I think.

Hopefully he will do it but all the pressure is on us and him; again he will know that.

I think possibly we'll see transfers up until end of the window. Lads on L1/L2 who expected to start or are out of favour will be more likely to want to come. Possibly a few PL/Championship loans

For Dalby on Saturday night when the HP came around to see me. He said Harvey was willing to pay the doe for Mendy just whether he jumps on it now and pay what boreham wood wanted or drag out the situation for us to get a better deal, as they don’t wanna waste 3/4 weeks wages on a player that refusing to play for them.

It was rarely if ever the management team previously who were spilling secrets...it was board members talking to their mates who weren't holding that information in confidence we don't have that same problem now but there's always people around the club who will see players dropping in for visits etc
