I guess its to do with a pressure on the officials?
If the timer runs out teams may expect the final whistle to blow, whereas in reality the ref may have stopped the watch a few times for further injuries, substitutions, time wasting etc...?

It’s also very annoying that the clock isn’t ticking during added in time.

You need to get to a few other clubs grounds and some are brilliant. One game I went to they were showing a complete show before the game started with interviews with players and goals scored etc

Think I remember this one too but can't think of the exact team, gonna bug me now! Feel it was a London club though but can't place it.
