New ground, new town, and first one on the train this season. Can’t wait for it.

Very similar to Bromley.

Train sounds interesting, What time does it leave Wrexham?

These fake pitches should be banned. Not only are they an unfair advantage (football is a game played on grass) they cause loads of injuries. So fully expect a defeat and 2 or 3 out for a few weeks with strains.

National.league rules are a joke

I'm one of the first to complain about poor "plastic" pitches but they have some merit, especially for the smaller clubs who use them as a community facility to generate funds.

Unfortunately, maintenance of these pitches costs and they really need relaying every season as the base gets compacted.
Most of these clubs don't bother and the pitches deteriorate over time and become unreliable. It's the same for both sides but it doesn't mean that it's right.

I play on a 3G every week here - https://lvc.org/sports-centre/

It was re-laid about 4 years ago and is well maintained. Even so we've had some nasty injuries including a triple ankle break a few months ago after the guy's studs got caught in the ground. As there's no 'give' as you have on grass pitches breaks do happen. A 14 year kid had a horrible spiral fracture on it last year.

We also had a guy break his ankle doing a rabona. But that fluffing served him right for being a complete twat.

Just happy to get out of these games with no serious injuries.
