Default End of the classified results

BBC have announced that they will not be providing the final results service at 5pm. This service has gone on for as long as I can remember, especially with Alexander Gordon and his personal style of presenting the results.

How many other fans will miss this element of football tradition - walking from The Racecourse down the Mold Rd and trying to listen to someone else transistor radio in order to hear how many Chester had lost by.

Should the BBC reverse this decision or have we really been taken over by modernism?
With Alexander Gordon you could tell by his lilt what the result was going to be ---- and who can remember East Fife 5 Forfar 4.

Some football traditions are to valuable to bin. What say you?

Wholeheartedly agree. First thing I do when I get back to the car is turn the radio on to listen to all the results. It always seems better than checking the On line site.

Gutted, just listening to the opening tune reminds me of when my dad was alive and he used to take me to away games and getting the radio on in the car to see how Wrexhams rivals had got on.
Definitely some traditions should not be binned.

I have memories as a kid of peering through the window of Curry's / Dixons looking at the scores coming up on their display TV's. Did anyone else do this?!

Clearly doesn't affect me now, but if I were still in the UK I would be heartbroken by this.
It's an essential part of the whole football experience - bring it back!
