I'm guessing that Andy Duff and his team are not cold calling companies of this size. At least I'd hope not. Its an incoming call inquiry and it stinks a bit of give us a grand or two and we'll take your money, invent an Official Partner title and issue a press release to get you some media coverage.

Not a fan of this approach and I really hope we don't see more 'deals' like this through the socumentary run. Its actually damaging the brand of the club when our stock has never been higher.

Quite happy to take their money - they're not a controversial organisation , they're an exciting new start up - Welsh people with a good product that's doing well .


most tech giants started out in someone's bedroom , or on their kitchen table . They're certainly doing something right - Welsh company taking on the might of Amazon , Google & Microsoft and doing a good job of it . Ryan in particular is very keen on helping small start up companies succeed

That’s basically what it is isn’t it? The owner of the company is most likely a wrexham fan or if not looking for a bit of publicity from the club.

I’ve got my own ltd company. Maybe I should drop the club a line and offer to be their official financial IT consultancy partner?

Only one employee though (two if you include my wife).

They probably put out a tender for an Official Cloud Storage partner rather than the fag packet discount approach you describe.

My initial thoughts were that it must be a South Wales Reds member behind it.

More revenoo but when you incentivise staff via commission they will typically sign up anybody.

The next 'deal' will be interesting. I can see it now - Dragon City on the Rhosddu Road signing up as the Club's Official Chinese Takeaway Partner. A press release quoting how much Fleur enjoys their spring rolls.
