Default As I sit here sipping my morning whiskey…

A few questions from a still new Wrexham fan…

1) I was called a sheep shagger on Twitter recently by a Chesterfield fan. Is this something I am to be proud of? A line in Allez refers to shagging sheep. How am I to proceed with this new found animal love? All help is appreciated.

2) Elliot Lee seems ok. Will he start when he is fully fit and match ready? Who does he replace in the long run?

3) Any word on a more permanent cover goal keeper for Howard? Did I completely read over us signing a new one this week?

4) More of a statement. 9 am whiskey is delicious. #UpTheTown

You find the nearest sheep and whisper sweet nothings into its ear. You should have received the information on what to say and how to detect sheep in your honorary Welshman package.

He ought to be joint-first on the team sheet with Mullin and Hayden once fully fit. Could be another couple of weeks until then, maybe fewer, but I'd imagine he'll mostly split game time with Jordan Davies but it wouldn't surprise me if Davies takes up one of Luke Young or James Jones' roles in some games against the weaker teams. We can occasionally afford to be a bit more risky if they're going to just try and defend against us.

Signed Rory Watson on a short term deal last week but that may not be the long term plan. I think others have said we have a triallist in but that's usually a bit hush hush and no names have been put about from what I've seen. I assume we'll go with Watson as the back up again and will continue to do so until he either earns a full contract or we find somebody else.

I can't comment on this one. Enjoy the dram.

1. Take it as a compliment. Chesterfield fans have very little to shout about. It’s terrible banter from terrible fans.

2. I don’t think he’ll start as his preseason started a bit later but with the injury to O’Connor it’ll be between him and Davies who starts behind Palmer and Mullin.

3. We still have Watson on a short term deal - I assume PP will assess at the end of the deal.

4. Roger that.

Being called a “sheep shagger” isn’t that bad really. There’s a lot worse. For example you could be called an englishman or Cheter/field supporter.

An off day from work. A good life I live. Pairing it with a few cigars.
