Really?
You think otherwise? In his defence he is 6ft4 often playing up against equally sizer defenders but he offers almost nothing with his head. Into feet or anywhere below his neck and his control and hold up play can be excellent he’s just not a headerer.

Fact Dalby comes on and scores with first headed chance kinda proves my point.

York made it hard for us, We eventually ground them down, It was never going to be easy. Foster is class, If he did make a mistake it was down to the dodgy back pass to him.

Young is great but the only thing missing today was his corner kicks. Midfield is quality right now and a joy to watch at times.

I couldn’t go today and watched the stream. Young’s corners are far better than Lee’s.

I think the issue with Young is he isn’t going to be on the bench (particularly if we pick a goalie sub) as he doesn’t score goals.

I agree. From our own set pieces, Hayden has been a massive miss. But who could you drop? Obviously not Tozer, EOC is the best defender at the club so obviously not him and Tunnicliffe hasn't done a lot wrong. I'm sorry, but with everyone fit I can't see Hayden starting.

It is not his fault he is 6ft4 but Palmer is crap in the air (whilst being very good in other aspects); moreover Notts are weak in defending set pieces so need to get back to battering teams from throws and corners.

A minor complaint overall though.
ok Palmers off his game at the mo and hes getting frustrated, but if you think hes crap in the air, you obviously havent been involved with football for long, its ok, the more you watch it the more youl learn, glad to have you onboard, howdy partner

A throughly dominant professional 3-0 win.

Our back 3 and foster looked levels above today, barely gave them a sniff.

Barnett was unplayable in the first half, then tapered off a bit in the second, but that is more due to us using the right wing less in the second half.

Special mention for Dalby who came on and got a goal and an assist in 20 minutes. His flick on again was superb for lees goal.

There was a lot of things adding up to this potentially being a banan skin, but I thought we were superb today all things given.
