So have we had a GOTS Award yet?
Have I missed it? It's got to be Mullin first vs Borehamwood for me as it knocked me into a fugue state of shock where I cried then stood in silence for about 20 mins and the strike itself wasn't half bad.
Second: I will go for Young in off the post against Barnet home Equal third : any of the Elliot Lee identikit goals where he blasted it top right hand corner from inside left channel. Special mention: Hayden's turn and run basket ball leap header in last min (was it Barnet again?) just for how much I laughed at its big boy time vibes. |

It was a fluke. Valuable but still a lucky punt. |

O'Connor's at York was special.

Eh? Was Paul Scholes’ volley off the crossbar against Villa a fluke? It’s football mate. That Young goal was magnificent and broke his long duck after scoring nowt for ages after being top scorer in sides of striker death and was a genuine moment of the season |

Re: So have we had a GOTS Award yet?
Mullin's v Borehamwood without a doubt. I still can't believe that he picked the ball up there and scored.

Just in case we have our wires crossed 2:15
No way he meant that. Not in a million years. That was a clearance, anyone can see that. |
Re: So have we had a GOTS Award yet?
Not necessarily the best but the one that made me laugh the most - TOC's "head tennis" goal against Coventry, allegedly one of the strongest defences in the Championship :jester:
|
Re: So have we had a GOTS Award yet?
Mullin's goal where he skins the lad on the half way line out wide before finishing is a great goal too.
|
Re: So have we had a GOTS Award yet?
Mullin's 1st against Boringwood for (mostly) sealing the title is a worthy winner, BUT Dalby's amazing header for the last minute winner against Aldershot that may have saved our title chances wins it for me.

Re: So have we had a GOTS Award yet?
Mullin against Boreham Wood. The circumstances and how he plucks it out of nothing. Special goal in the history of this club.
Honourable mentions to Tozer vs Halifax, Lee vs Eastleigh (home and away) and Jones vs Alty. |
Re: So have we had a GOTS Award yet?
James Jones scoring the 4th goal at home to Altrincham.
The one touch build up play to put Jones through to score was sublime https://youtu.be/miFXbsnkNNc. |

Heh, anything Notts County can do, we can do better… Seriously though, don’t envy whoever it is that has to go through and draw up a shortlist (well, sort of, been some great goals this season). Almost need a couple of categories - traditional ‘Goal of the Season’ and ‘Most important goal of the season’ (such as Dalby at Aldershot). |

Almost forget how good it was due to them scoring straight after. |

Just in case we have our wires crossed 2:15
Quality strike. Some not very spectatcular keeping from Mark Howard for atleast 3 of their goals. |
