Can't say im overwhelmed as i don't know him.

and many others, its clear they had potential to continue to improve but there was absolutely no guarantee they would all be successes and don't recall anyone expecting Langstaff to score 42 goals.

I wasnt even overwhelmed with signing Bostock and Jones. Despite both having clear quality Jones had barely kicked a ball for 3 years through injury and Bostock has never truly settled anywhere which often isn't the best omen.

Roll back 5 years and we were signing marquee signings like Kane Hemmings/Kristian Dennis/David Vaughan/Enzio Boldewijn with a team tipped for the title and finished 23rd and got relegated. If the recruitment team deem a player the right fit for us for all the various reasons, I would take that over a player that 'on paper' is one of the best in the league.

Very unpredictable as to how Notts will do at this stage. Wouldn’t suprise me if they went back to back or if they simply just established themselves. Holding onto/replacing key players will be huge, and will be very interesting to see how they get around the high line.

Let’s remember that they only finished 4 points behind our team of world beaters, if it wasn’t for us we’d be talking about the best ever non league side. Underestimate them at your peril.

Barnett was one of our lower key signings and turned out to be one of the best.

That's why many of us wanted Chesterfield or BW to win one of those last two games.
