It is always difficult to judge other clubs signings but I don't feel we have missed out on anyone . NC are bigging up their signings but they have also lost Rodrigues. The bookies won't take any chances with their odds for us but likewise they don't seem to rate the signings of other clubs as yet

No. I'm still haven't changed my mind on McGoldrick. Take away last season stats and his games per goal ratio is very poor. Before last season, he'd never scored a hat-rick, he scored three last season. So basically, the Derby County midfield had the quality to feed McGoldrick the quality service he needed to score goals.

His age is against him now and it will be interesting to see how LW will set Notts County up and how he and Langstaff will play together. We already know how Mullin plays alongside Palmer and Dalby and it works.

I think McGoldrick experience will help Langstaff in his future career in football and I can see Notts in the play-offs places, but need to add quality to your defence to challenge for an automatic spot.

Fair enough opinion. Although I don't think we have necessarily signed him for his goals (nor do I believe other clubs did), more his general footballing ability. I suppose we will all find out soon, ultimately no signing is a guarantied success anyway, its a mostly guesswork.

A gamble. Ian Rush was an amazing signing for us, until he wasn't.

Absolutely right. That’s exactly the reason why I wouldn’t swap Mullin for anyone. Wrexham and Mullin fit, simple as.

Genuine answer, I don't have a clue.

But if no club has signed a better player than you already have, you should win the division by 30 points.

Probably yes. But we’ve not been in this division for 15 years so no one has a clue who most of the players are.

Yes McGoldriick is better than some of our starting 11. But Rodriguez may have been too.
