It’s not every club, no, but you can’t deny that we attract higher home figures, in particular higher percentages against smaller clubs.

I’m sure 17 out of 23 clubs we played last season had their highest gate against us. It wasn’t even a subtle rise in some cases, Bromley had literally double their average against us (we only took around 800 out of a 5k crowd) and Altrincham had their highest league attendance since the 1960’s or something daft, I remember them being very proud of it.

Aldershot’s another one I remember. They quadrupled their attendance from when they played Chesterfield a few days before. Of course they sang WWYWYWS without seeing the irony.
Fair enough - I'll take your word on the numbers. I think the bigger the club / the further you'll get up the leagues that will change though. Guess we'll see how it plays out over a L2 season.

I also think if people can't get a home ticket, there's more likely to be demand for less attractive away trips or exiles sneaking into the home end at away fixtures as the only way they are going to see you. Credit to you for the crowd demand though.

I do wonder how many Wxm fans will be in the home ends. You had to be a member to get an away ticket (extra 30 quid if not a season ticket holder).

Cheapest option for the casual Wxm fan would be to buy a ticket in the home ends.

No I agree that we’ll become less of a “scalp” the higher we go. There’s always massive clubs naturally over spilling down into League One who will be much bigger games for other clubs than us if/when we get there.

Wouldn't surprise me if the home figures were often skewed because of this. I do think there's a calibre of club who do see you as the 'big fish' and that will show in attendances. Crawley are effectively a non league club in all aspects bar their league position, so are much likely to get excited by the whole story like many of the National league teams were. I think the story has very little impact on the bigger clubs in the league.

I can only talk from my own opinion, but I am actually more excited to play Wrexham than most teams because of our competitive rivalry we had last season and is going to be interesting to see how it plays out. In no way I am more excited for the game because of your owners or your documentary etc and don't know of any Notts fans personally who think differently, but no doubt there will be a few exceptions to the rule, there always will be.

Yes agree with you after all the years away from league 2 it feels more like a glorified national League with the exception of Bradford and Swindon maybe 🤣

There was a table on here a few months ago I think ? of the 50 most searched clubs in the UK based on all the major SM platforms and Wrexham was 14th......ahead of a number of Premier League clubs and one place above Leeds United.

Utterly bonkers

I'm just going by the stadium map on the ticket site (where you can see availability). The sales for Wrexham after 3 days are still probably little less than the sales were after the first few hours of the Mansfield game going on sale.

Only Watford in Champ had more, we had more than Bournemouth and Brentford in Prem

You might be right in this instance. My issue is more with the exaggeration to every club in the league.
