Lee may not be firing but he still very nearly scored 2 goals. Along with Mullin they are 2 of the very best in the league.

He looks shattered. Even in the first half yesterday, he was taking a breather whilst we were waiting for Crawley to take a corner which isn’t like him.

He is certainly having to play alot more in our own half, teams are quicker to press and he does get close attention whenever he can get on the ball.

We have played 3 good passing teams this week and he has had to work his socks off, exasperated by going down to 10 for big parts of 2 games. Before the sending off yesterday, normal service was being resumed and Lee was pressing as a front 3 with SPM & OP and we looked far more effective and chances were coming, whilst at the same time, Lee wasn't trying to create from his own half

Arthur 7 - really good performance, although I feel there is so much more to come from him. He will be a big player for us this season.

McClean 7 - some very good crosses into the box including the assist for Palmer. Much improved performance but we know he can improve again.

Mendy 6 - he’s looked solid at RWB albeit a little awkward at times being left footed. Shame he got injured second half.

TOC 6 - better second half but needed to be a little stronger at times. Distribution is good from the back.

EOC 7 - steady performance. Shows some nice touches at times.

Hayden 8 - class act and sorely missed when he wasn’t available. Another big player for us.

Evans 8 - reads the game superbly and keeps us ticking over.

Jones 9 - everywhere. When RP’ers are calling for energy in midfield, this is what we should be expecting. MOTM

Lee 6 - by his own standards not fantastic but opposition teams are making it their mission to keep him quiet. Always likely to get a goal.

Palmer 8 - link up play was decent and quality finish to bring home the 3 points.

Mullin 6 - still a way of full fitness but caused Crawley problems. A half fit mullin still makes the 11 and has a decent impact!

Lee just needs to get his 5th booking, get suspended and then start again. Been poor by his standards since he picked up his 4th.

Davies should get 10 for winding the fans up to roar the team home in the last 10 minutes.

McLean 1 cross 1 goal. Why doesn’t he cross more. Infuriating.

At least the team spirit showed yesterday unlike Stockport.

We’ve been largely poor so far this year by are only 4 points off the top. We’ve also played largely top half teams. Hopefully some easier games to come.

I appreciate there's a player in there, which is why I'm getting frustrated with him. Looked good when he came on against Mansfield but lost his head yesterday for that challenge.

It looked like he wasn't helped by ToC who over committed, but then a rash rusty tackle. It happens Mullin was guilty of the same not long after serving a ban. Better communications and decision making from the back and the situation, similar to Barnetts red, need not and doesn't happen.

People need to appreciate, our system doesn't exactly suit Lee. As Parky said last season he had to adapt to the system. He is our playmaker but has to do the donkey work closing down the left side of midfield where I suspect previously he has been allowed to play more freely as a number 10 or second striker. He never shirks that work rate, but doesn't have the luxury of conserving his energy for those explosive attacking moments.
