And you need me to play RWB? No problem.

Arthur is top drawer now that his nerves have settled. No way Crawley were going to beat him from 25 yards out. He's got it all - shot stopper, safe hands for the high balls and agile enough to get down low for those awkward crosses in between keeper and defender. A bit too quiet but that will come with experience.

Mendy's injury was horrible to watch. Just a bizarre passage of play with Mullin (?) volleying a pass to the right that was almost head height. Most players would have let it go straight out but there were audible gasps from the crowd when Mendy somehow controlled it but you could see just how much he had to stretch.

Lee and Mullin deserve some of the low marks given by others. Jordan Davies looked like a player who scored 20 goals in a season not long ago. We looked like scoring every time he got the ball.

Special mention as well to Fletcher who is looking like a very shrewd signing. Love the way that he puts his body between himself and the ball. There is absolutely no way defenders can tackle him with giving away a foul and he won a couple late on that gave us a breather when we needed it. Just a very intelligent footballer.

Yes agreed - I believe his contract is up at the end of this season - I'd be making my absolute priority to get him signed up to another 3 years before January if I was the club . Our most under rated player ( mostly by fans over a certain other player who plays the same position ). The partnership with Evans could be key for us for the next 2 or 3 years

Okonkwo 8- solid and reassuring presence that was missing before him

O’Connell 8 - see above
Hayden 7.5 - looking assured, gave a booking away on the one occasion he got caught out
TOC 6.5 - did okay, but gave up possession aimlessly on occasions

Mendy 7 - was having another good game when injured
McClean 6.5 - needs to wing in the dissent

JJ 9 - energy personified and impactful in two different positions
Evans 8 - remains a classier and more purposeful TOC
Lee 6 - off form and largely marked out of the game

Mullin 6 - remains off the pace, still could add should have scored
Ollie 8 - topped off another great performance with an audacious goal

Davies 7 - impact making and worthy of a start
Cannon 0 - red card not helped by TOC’s confusion but still…..
Fletcher 7 - loving the classy cameos- pleas sir can I have some more?!
Tunni 6.5 - A welcome return

Parky 9 - managed the game well and substitutions were made in more timely fashion

Not at all saying that there is some major improvement that I'd like to see from him but come on, didn't do anything in open play? You mean besides the great cross that assisted the only goal of the match?

I'd say that's doing something in open play. He did look a touch better on the defensive side of the ball and I'm guessing that he's going to cheat to that side of the field being that I'm not sure he has the pace or stamina to be WB so I guess I'd rather see him be a bit more secure on the defensive side being that this squad will continue getting better at finding goals while not needing to expose themselves defensively to do so.

He does need to keep his cool though with the referees. It's one thing when it's completely warranted, but his complaints aren't warranted at all. Like, bro, you definitely fouled the guy. Let it go... also, get better at not getting caught up sticking your leg out late.

Anyways, I think it will take some more time, but he will get better and shift his game more to suit Parky's system.
