I don't think it's quite that simple - although it's certainly a factor .

you also have to bare in mind Arthur has come in and got fully up to speed ( he's made some key saves and made a huge difference )

Evans has got his fitness to a good level and got used to playing with the rest of the side - he's made a real difference to now he's fit

James Jones along side Evans has improved the midfield also with some excellent performances and much as I love Luke Young, JJ links the play slightly better with other players

Mullin is getting fitter week by week , which not only helps his game , but takes the pressure of Ollie a little allowing him to perform better

I'd expect us to get better & better through the first couple of months of the season as the team built their fitness and got used to playing together with the new additions

Like I say I don't think it's as simple as we're better because we've swapped one player for another

Less backing off which perversely is what defenders naturally do when they have little faith in what's behind them.

Arthur has made a huge difference. You could see that in Crawley's shooting last week in the second half. They were never going to beat him from 25 yards but they kept trying and their shots went increasingly higher and wider as they knew they had to do something special to get past him.

I like your three. I'm a big fan of having aggressive CB's right and left with a guy who can play inbetween them.

i'm expecting the team to be the same as last week - who plays RWB is the only question.

I wonder how small does the away attendance need to be before we can start allocating tickets to home fans ( as we did last season )

If you can keep the away fans in the bottom tier of the Yale which is about 400 seats you can sell the top tier to home fans. Salford have sold 600 so annoyingly there'll be about 500 empty seats in the away end.

Probably only a few teams that won't sell their allocation as we're seen as a big day out nowadays.

Thereís obviously a reason, but why canít there be the opposite and have away fans in the top tier and home fans in the bottom tier?

Crewe scored, were celebrating but given offside, before they realised Salford took quick free kick went straight up Crewe end and scored. I think we will be too good for the. 3-1 Wrexham, we could potentially go joint second looking at fixtures tomorrow. 🤞
