Default Club finances & owner contributions

Hi,
Recent fan here.

The latest W2W episode Hand of Foz outlined owner contributions to the Club of £10.8 million.

Am I right in thinking the documentary fees are paid to Rob and Ryan and their documentary company? And not to the club?

My understanding was they got the money from the doc but the club gets global exposure / big sponsors / all those extra kit purchases leading to their £20 million revenue figure.

Just wondering how Ďout of pocketí they are once the documentary fees are taken into account?

Obviously if they sold they have more than made their money back. And hoping that never happens too.

Also when they fly to the U.K. and have hotel costs etc - can they expense that to the club or will that come from their open pockets?

Iím not accusing them of anything, they are brilliant owners and have done a completely incredible job over the last few years for the club and the town. Just curious.

No one really knows because documentary fees covers a wide spectrum of meaning.

No qualms if this is the case

I hope they do take a cut for themselves. They deserve it. .

We can't complain at 10.8m being invested in the team, women's team, academy, stadium and infrastructure. For the first time in our history, we are gearing up to be a sustainable championship level club.

One positive thing is the ratings for season two have by all accounts been very impressive. As long as there's an appetite for the show they'll keep making it and the as long as they keep making it it'll help to fund the club.

It’s obviously been good so far but little legacy has been left yet, were R&R to leave the club suddenly. The women's team and academy would not be self sustaining and would likely close. The legacy so far would be some minor improvements to the concourses and getting into the league (temporary in nature). Hopefully the new Kop will be a significant legacy to be left.

Not at all, itís obviously much better now but Iím talking about the legacy when they decide to leave.

Most of the commercial stuff would disappear along with a big chunk of the crowds, so the current playing squad would in no way be sustainable either.

What Iím hoping is that the Kop stand will be a tangible asset they can leave behind
