In fairness to the club there isnít much they can do with such a limited allocation. The only alternative would be through loyalty but I gather this would also be unpopular.

It would only be unpopular with the type of people that were desparate to go to Stockport away but weren't interested in Mansfield last Saturday.

A loyalty scheme is the ONLY fair way of allocating tickets. There's more than enough history from this season alone to start implementing it.

And for those that moan it will become a closed shop, there were 1000 unbought tickets for Mansfield, you can start building your points there.

Accrington, Crawley and Barrow tickets were on sale for a good period of time before selling out, and Forest Green tickets are still available. Did Crewe away sell out? Plenty of opportunities have been there for people to buy tickets.

Swindon, Doncaster and MK Dons aways will all be excellent opportunities for people to grab away tickets too. It's far from a closed shop at the moment.

I think the issue some have is to do with some who might buy tickets for the points, but ultimately the ones who are going away regularly will benefit alongside them. I'd like to think I'd have been in the top 450 in line for tickets today, but I'd be at peace with it if I wasn't and those who had been to more than me got in there. There'll be less than 1000 who have been to half of the 10 aways so far I reckon, which would allow for an initial priority window for pretty much all the remaining games.

I'd trial it for Newport.

Totally disagree with a points based loyalty scheme. It will be the same people at every away game because they will build up most points by default.

It will switch off 80% of the fanbase (many of them ST holders) from ever getting an away ticket which isn't right. Leave it as it is. Everyone should have the same chance to get an away ticket for every game.

We already have a loyalty scheme. It's called a season ticket

As Hometown Unicorn has very neatly said, tickets for most away games are pretty easy to access, it's the ones like Harrogate, Tranmere, Stockport etc which are harder.

That's where to my mind the real die-hards need looking after. The ones that were doing Torquay away on a Tuesday night before Rob and Ryan even knew Wrexham existed.

There's probably 100 or so of them, but when we're only being allocated 450 tickets they need priority.

Exactly.

It would just be harder to get tickets for the games everyone wants to go to e.g. Stockport and Tranmere.

FGR tickets still being on sale, and Mansfield (league and cup), Accrington and Crawley taking days to sell out tells you all you need about it being a closed shop.

I prefer an inclusive club where everyone gets the same chance regardless when they started supporting. The club will eventually stop growing if we keep on looking backwards.

If it means I miss a few away games so be it. I'd rather our fan base grows and is treated as one

But as outlined above, it wouldn't be a closed shop. Still plenty of chances to build up Top Red points
