How can you not want to have games like Coventry and Sheff Utd last season??

I get the league is priority but it's not either/or.

We will definitely win the FA Cup this season. We would have won it last season if Mullin had not missed that penalty at Bramall Lane. Down with Mullin!!!!

Much our history has been intertwined with the FA Cup.

Our runs to the quarter final as some say are still a bit sore, however I think last seasons cup adventure was excellent and gave us a break from the pressure that was building in the league.

I left Bramall Lane not too disappointed knowing that we had had a great run but it was now time to concentrate our energy back to the great fight with County and getting out that infernal league.

The league is always priority and your bread & butter , however the F A Cup is where dreams are made.

FA Cup provides that 'dare to dream' format for the 'little fish'. Like many say, league is always a priority, but a few matches in the FA Cup can have huge impacts. An away day to say Arsenal, Liverpool, etc would surely be bought up by TV and the gate split alone is enough to buy a quality player/pay a few players wages.

I hope we go as far as we can again and scalp a Championship or even Premier League side on the way. That’s what football is all about.

It won’t mess around with our fixture list as much this year either if we did go far. Minimal midweek games as it is.

Seems crazy to me people say they don’t care. We’ve just been drawn at home to a side we SHOULD beat well & then it’s the 3rd round where we could get one of the big boys home or away. Or against one of the Welsh sides we ain’t played or many years. Fa cup can throw us games that we are still a fair bit away from yet.

Some of my best moments being a Wrexham fan have been in the FA Cup. I always want us to go as far as we can. I feel like Parkinson feels the same about the FA Cup tbh so expect us to be playing a strong team in this one.

Brilliant chance to get into the third round and draw a plum tie. I don't understand why people would want us to get knocked out- it's more than likely another one or two games at most.

Same here, all my favourite moments (until last year) were around the FA cup. It’s such a fantastic competition, there’s nothing better than listening around the grounds on a wet and cold January and hearing about the part time plumbers, cultured Europeans playing on a bog where the dressing room is too small and the odd ‘giant killing’. I hope and prey we play our strongest team, get it won and then get Tottenham or Man U at home (both ripe for a giant killing).
