On a rematch ill probably skip the first 10 or 12 minutes. Langstaff needs subtitles for definite haha.
Yes I did get overcome with emotion with the rest of the episode.

Its difficult to watch and not become overcome by emotion.

I remember being at Chesterfield a few years back where they beat us with the last kick of the game and I was convinced we were going down. Fast forward five years and what is happening now is scarcely believable. Sell outs every week, back in the EFL, Wrexham shirts everywhere you look. I truly believe we have the best owners in the world and the I'm not sure the debt for what they have given us can ever be repaid.

Far too much Notts in the first 10 minutes or so, but a brilliant episode that brought back so many emotions

Notts just had to be heavily featured in this episode, which really was the culmination of 'a once in a lifetime' titanic battle between two great teams (which for once, we actually didn't lose out in)....and I'm glad they were.

The third goal going in is what got me and clearly a few others in the ground. Ashmore should have saved it looking at it in slo-mo though!
I've always thought that too, but on watching it yet again on the slo-mo, you see just how hard SPM hit the ball and he couldn't quite get his hand up quick enough (thank feck, I don't think the ol' ticker would've survived till the final whistle on 2-1)

I've personally enjoyed every episode for differing reasons. Bring on S3...

The commercials were SO annoying, there was like a five minute break right after the opening scene - I get it, draw out the tension - and another five minute break right at the end when I wanted to see if there was going to be anything else after the Notts epilogue which there wasn’t really, just a shot of the bus slowly pulling away though I liked the ‘Dreams Do Come True’ message on the back of it. The episode should have absolutely been the longest of the season but it was a few minutes short of some others.

Like others, I would have liked to have seen more post-promotion comments from the fans but they seemed to make a conscious decision that would be overkill (you didn’t even hear from R and R or Humphrey after), just to show a montage of what it meant visually by reactions and to have all the comments they did include come during the in-game montages. Wayne opting to spend the finale inside the Turf instead of in the stadium was poignant and yet another example of just how connected the Turf and the team are.

Knowing what happened with Notts I was expecting there to be some form of an epilogue and was wondering how they’d play it - was surprised they featured AS much in the last episode as they did, but I get they wanted to establish the Cedwyn Scott arc and you couldn’t do that by putting the Notts stuff before their game with us (which otherwise would have been more logical). I’m more than fine with giving them their due on the whole though, especially considering we beat them hah

As a whole I thought the episode was really well done for the most part, particularly the opening credits, the Jordan Davies stuff (loved they included an actual shot of them at the parade) and even that farcical first minute of the game hah. I wasn’t expecting to hear the Rocky music in the climax but why shouldn’t I have expected it, Rob is a Philly boy after all haha.

That was one of my abiding memories of the parade day. I'd noticed he wasn't on the bus and couldn't understand why until the crowds parted a bit on Mold Road and he was stood there with a pram looking proud as punch. Really nice to see.

Few comments about hiping to get more of the reaction etc. Season 3 is arriving early next year, I'd imagine the trip to Vegas and the reaction will form a decent part of the start of s3.

Yeah. We took the lead twice and I was laughing at how bad Chesterfield were. They still beat us. I drove back silent convinced we were up shit creek. I pinch myself daily and eyes were watering at the end of the game in this week's episode. In floods watching the open top bus bits.

Truly magical times. We're going places, it's amazing
