Agree with others who have said it that will be the most celebrated promotion in our history.

In reality, promotion to the Premier League would struggle to top that

Loved the episode and the memories cascading back. Last match I watched with my younger bro before he collapsed on the Monday and died a few weeks later. Forgotten just how gut wrenching it was until SPM delivered and remembered how we hugged at the end. Just sat there with him and my nephew for nearly an hour watching the crowds subside and feeling the emotions fall back into place. Tears in my eyes as I type this and during the episode. COYR.

I kinda love that the show has such wild swings and variations in tone from episode to episode, from the goofy Shaun's vacation episode to the serious issues episodes about autism and Gresford, to exhilarating football action. It's such a weird Frankenstein's monster of a show.

Agreed. I like the variety as well, so I can come here and read what issue(s) Wrexy and the other chronic complainers had with the episode.

Bit teary watching that. That will never be topped as a Wrexham fan IMO, unless we do the very unlikely and win an FA Cup or major trophy. The pure release of emotion after 15 years of pain was unparalleled.

Paul Mullin could join Stockport tomorrow and he’d still be a Wrexham legend.

Must be one of the reasons for it's global appeal. If it was just the football no-one (comparatively) would watch it, and if it was just the other stuff it wouldn't appeal to football fans. They tread the line really well imo.
