yep - both options - Macalinden offers very little going forwards though .... and JD hasn't played there for a long time ( just because he's far more effective centrally and doesn't have the pace for the wide role)

They'd all do a job there, but realistically that's what we're looking at - someone doing a job.

My thinking with Canon is he loves to run with the ball and is pretty good at taking a man on and beating them with the ball and he can hit a decent long range pass . I'm not saying he's ideal there , ( none of the available options are ) , but he offers something different . he's more willing to take players on than Macalinden ( and probably JD ) .. & more mobile than JD.

I'd be happy with any of them there , as they'll be giving it all they can despite not being ideally suited to the role

As I say , they'd all do a job , but realistically , with Macalinden and possibly with JD too , most of our attacking play would have to come from the RWB , or up the middle with JJ/Evans/Lee

Out of curiosity how many players have to be called from a team to get the game postponed.

When Sir Flynn was in charge and with the Trinidad & Tobago boys we were forever postponing and playing catchup, wonder if PP would do that as SPM may be called up for Wales as well sometime in the near future.

There are 3 games in our league cancelled due to international duty.

With our squad depth, postponement would be a ridiculous decision. I can see why Morecambe did it for the third time in a row, but this could hurt later when fixtures pile together.

It does.

Silly rule I think, it should be for senior call ups only IMO. May aswell stop scheduling League One games on international weekends as it’s always obliterated.

Why?

Those players are still missing from someone’s squad.

If we had major fitness concerns I'd be more worried.

Okonkwo

Forde
Hayden
Tozer
TOC
McAlinden

Evans
JJ
Lee

Mullin
Palmer

With the current form of Tozer/TOC/Evans/JJ I think this is the best XI we'd have put out this season even with Macca in
